Ted Wrigley has been a teacher, director and performer of Improvisation for the past ten years. Ted teaches acting and improv at the New Jersey School of Dramatic Arts, and directs and emcees three improv troupes based out of NJSDA: Nutty by Nature, On the Spot and Sparks of Insanity. Ted is also a member of Actors Equity and has performed in theatre productions throughout the tr-state area, such as Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf, Hamlet, Romeo and Juliet, Brothers Booth, Othello, Taming of the Shrew and many more. He also has recently appeared in the award winning independent film "Star Crossed Lovers". Ted also serves as the director and a producer on That Improv Show.

Rich McDonald, also known as Big Rich From Jersey, has come a long way in just a few short years in the comedy game. He performs nightly following his passions of stand-up, improv comedy and acting. As a stand-up comedian, Big Rich can be seen performing on stage at venues throughout NYC, New Jersey and all along the east coast. Big Rich has opened for national headliner acts such as Michael Winslow, Jim Florentine, Dustin Diamond, Mick Foley, and Natty Bumpercar. His act has been described as adult-themed yet clean. Rich attempts to shock the crowd with humor and comedic timing rather than vulgarity. Rich's acting resume include appearing on Live With Regis and Kelly, Dear Genevieve on HGTV and in the film Eternal Damn Nation, which screened at Cannes Film Festival.
Born in New York, raised in New Jersey, grew up, and the rest is history. Ok, fine, here goes: Along with 3 friends, founded The Company Theatre Group, They've been performing for something like 9 years, mostly in Hackensack. I served as property master, set designer and builder, and occasional actor. Other credits include a brief time with On The Spot improv group, performed in such plays as: Communicating Doors, 1776, Art, Mission: Improvable improv shows, Barefoot in the Park, and more, but I don't want to bore you. I am currently an aspiring retiree.
Born and raised in the Garden State, Steven holds a BA in Theatre Performance from Susquehanna University and is a graduate of the UCB training center in Harold structure improv. At NJSDA Steven has been a troupe member of Sparks of Insanity since it started in 2008, and is currently a member of Nutty by Nature. Steven's Regional theatre credits include Come Blow Your Horn (Buddy) at Hunterdon Hills Playhouse and The Goat, or Who Is Sylvia? (Billy) at Black Box Studios. Steven has also worked background for programs on HBO, FX, and Amazon.
"In addition to a few middle school and high school musicals (HONK Jr., The Sound of Music, Hello Dolly), Christina began her acting career at the New Jersey School of Dramatic Arts in Bloomfield, NJ. There, she studied Improv and has been an active member of two professional groups (On the Spot, Nutty by Nature) for four years. Christina studied and has experience writing comedy. She completed an original series for her Writing Studies M.A. degree at Kean Univeristy. Her topic covered Comedy and Cultural Appropriation. She currently teaches writing courses as an professor at Kean University. Christina also currently begins a new journey to the world of stand up comedy."
John is a New York City based engineer (an improviser). He has trained at NJSDA and the Peoples Improv Theater in both short and longform improvisation. John has performed as a member of the University of Delaware's Riot Act, NJSDA's On the Spot, independent group Neapolitan Astronauts. Credits also include performances in the ensemble of Thank You for Coming Out, Hall H: An Improvised Comic Con Panel, and can be currently be found performing at The Commons Theater based out of Brooklyn.
Devin O’Brien has been a performer, writer, and director for the stage and screen for the past eight years.In 2016, Devin was featured on Playbill.com for piloting the leading role of Johnny in the world’s first high school production of Green Day’s American Idiot. Devin began his improv career at the New Jersey School of Dramatic Arts, where he was a member of Sparks of Insanity. In 2018, Devin is slated to take on the role of head writer for Temple University’s only sketch comedy show Temple SMASH. He is Vice President of Temple’s Improv Club, and is a founding member of Temple’s only improv troupe The Parliament. Devin is currently writing his first feature film, and during the summer months he shares the joys of theatre with children ages 4-12 as a camp counselor at The Connection in Summit.
Aside from school plays, Doug began his acting career studying improv at the New Jersey School of Dramatic Arts. He has performed professionally with On the Spot and Nutty by Nature for over 5 years. Doug has played guitar all of his adult life mostly for fun, not profit. He is a participation trophy award winner. Winning this prestigious award for just being there. He also may have been credited in the liner notes, for an album, from a band, no one knows.
